Database Interaction / Flexibility
DART's design methodology is a Multi-Tier Architecture that can utilize any ODBC compliant database, giving it flexibility and the power to communicate with most traditional business databases. DART can also be interfaced with non-traditional databases, through its DART Connector platform, in cases where that may be a requirement.

Not only is DART able to interface with almost any conventional type of database, it also has the unique ability to read cross-departmentally. What this means is that separate departments that may have previously used separate formats for databases can now integrate all of the data from the various departments into a single reporting source. The end result is a reporting solution that completely, comprehensively and accurately describes the total workings of your institution. For example, if you wanted to find out the cost of each phone call your call center was taking, and the call center database and payroll databases were of different types (MS SQL Server and Oracle for instance). DART's unique ability to use multiple data source types would allow you to calculate this, and create reports that could be distributed to inform others about this information.

Alphametrics has solved the integration challenge in its design and methodology of data transformation. It has been designed to meet the needs of dynamic change in the office environment.
